A close family member became a resident at Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation after undergoing many weeks of rehab in St. Louis after a stroke. We specifically chose the Greenville location for the proximity to his home, family and friends as well as the high praise this facility received from trusted sources we contacted during our search. How fortunate to have a facility of this quality so close to home in our rural area. The care he received during his stay was excellent. The staff were pleasant, receptive and always helpful. They treated him like a special friend, as many on staff knew him well before his stroke. They treated him with honor and respect, making him feel well-cared for. He received several hours of therapies: speech, physical, occupational, etc., by top-notch professionals during his stay. He made further progress under this protocol and was eventually able to return to his home under home nursing care. He almost didn't want to leave, he had so much positive, personal attention and care. In a perfect world, a nursing home isn't a place that anyone wishes to spend time, but if it becomes necessary, the Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation center is a wonderful option. As my family would visit it was clear to see how all the residents were loved and cared for as if they were family, not simply patients. I believe this attitude is fostered through the leadership of the facility's director, Kimberly McDaniel. It was uncanny to witness the tenderness and personal concern she displayed for her 'people.' Her residents are a part of her family and they know it. It really was special to see. My family's thanks to Kimberly and the Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation facility. Thanks to her staff including Sarah Hillis, Stephanie Willard and Jesse Goebel. There were many others as well. If a family requires this type of care for a loved one, I highly recommend the Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation facility in Greenville, Missouri.
