This place is simply awesome. Staff there are so friendly and helpful.

We've found the 'cottage' where we're living quite comfortable, and much more spacious than we would have expected in a retirement village. The grounds are nicely landscaped, and attended to on a regular basis. The staff is friendly. On the minus side: three housekeepers have come and gone in the 18 months we've been here, as has the activities director assigned to our Independent Living area. The maintenance guy is gone and not yet replaced. The weekly 'light housekeeping' service includes dusting, mopping, vacuuming, removing garbage and recyclables, but no furniture dusting. The windows were hosed but not washed. There has been no 'yearly deep cleaning.' In our estimation, the meals leave a lot to be desired in terms of taste, variety and presentation. The monthly rent is on the high side. At the moment, six of the 15 units are vacant. Is there a marketing campaign to attract more residents?
