Beware! This facility is a mediocre, unprofessional, improper, unskillful 'dump.' My grandmother was transferred to this unqualified facility. Due to her being obese, they rendered her the most uncompassionate care I have ever witnessed in the healthcare field. The 1st-line care staff displayed heartless interactions with her concerning her weight. The CNA's would all come to the room and look at her and shake their head and make hardhearted remarks regarding her size and their inability to care for someone of that nature (size). They allowed her to sit in feces/urine for several hours. In addition to this disdainful humiliation, they fabricated health concerns to push her out to the ER and proceeded to attempt to tarnish the reputation of the hospital and doctor by stating that they lied to their facility regarding her weight. The ER did not find any illnesses that my grandmother had that the nursing facility were not aware of. Furthermore, the ER representatives felt that nursing home used those falsified concerns as a means of removing her from their facility. The cold-hearted, below-average nurse/social worker that sounded like she a had a frog in her throat, and that appeared to be amped up on Adderall or some type of substance told me that it was IMPOSSIBLE for her workers to mistreat anyone. As if negligent behaviors never happens in the healthcare field. As I conversated with her, she was using an inappropriate tone with me and challenged the intellect of the doctor by stating that he did not know policy and procedures in healthcare, when in fact, this doctor has the highest reputable notoriety among physicians in Greenville. The administrator never returned my call. In addition to the dreadful interaction, The nursing care facility failed to send my grandmother medications home with her. We petitioned this facility several times regarding my grandmother missing meds and they continued to deny having possession of her meds. We attempted to have the pharmacy to refill the meds and they were not able to due to the meds recently being refilled. After the fourth day of my grandmother not having her medication, we had to take her back to the ER due to swelling. During the night while we were at the ER, the nursing home called us and informed us they my grandmother meds were found in one of the nurses lockers. The ER doctor stated that if my grandmother would have gone another day without her meds that it could have been fatal. This cold-hearted, austere, callous, unchartered pit is not qualified to take care animals, let alone humans. There was a family friend that we visited with in this same facility and she reported to us that she sits in waste daily for hours as well and that they are always unstaffed with lack of efficient resources. I am only giving them one star because the receptionist was nice to me.
