My mom lived at this community for 3.5 months in 2019. It was a completely horrific experience. My mom was required to do a mandatory PT assessment and was pressured into several sessions of therapy until she sustained a debilitating spinal injury at the hand of the therapist. After that, my mom refused treatment. The next day the building manager at The Lodge banged loudly on her door. He questioned my mom aggressively about why she stopped her therapy and tried to convince her to change her mind. My mom felt bullied and intimidated. Shortly after that my mom was diagnosed with a severely herniated disc, had surgery and is currently waiting to have a second surgery. My mom was too fearful to return to The Lodge after her surgery.
