Management is slow in responding to issues regarding non emergency issues and situations, there is mediocre communication between departments because there isnt ever enough employees. Employees seem on edge and not satisfied with the company. The physical place is beautiful but sadly the energy and people there dont maximize the full potential of their employees and management. I personally wouldnt put anyone I know into this place because most the caregivers are unthoughtful and I wouldnt want anyone I know dealing with their poor management skills. It looks great from the outside but most times these places are hiding their worst side from you.

My 80 year old father recently moved into the transitional memory care unit and we couldn't be happier. The staff are wonderful and attentive and go out of their way to make my father and family feel welcome. So many amenities with on site nursing, physical therapy, hair cuts, Blue Stone medical option and the dining room meals are home style with plenty of options. They take the time to get to know the residents families as well and often greet you by name each time you visit. They've also encouraged my father to socialize more and he's thriving. We love it there!

My aunt was in Betty's Harbor for a number of years. She recently passed away and the empathy and attention the staff provided was exceptional. Everyone had a kind word and provided food for the family on her final days. It was a wonderful experience being in this community and the care provided was kind and loving. Our family is so grateful she was in a special place over the last few years
