This facility has improved significantly since under the direction of a new Executive Director. The nurses and support staff are excellent and can't wait to see what the future holds for this beautiful facility.

I have been with Waters Edge for almost 2 years now and I am going to be honest about things. I love it here. In fact I am graduating from college and have had any interviews in different places and waters edge keeps bringing me back. Waters edge has improved greatly this year (2020) with new management and staff. It really shows how much staff and management care about these residents and waters edge is continually improving its efforts to make it one of the best assisted living facilities for residents to live in Mankato!I am excited for the future of this company and for Waters Edge to be the talk of the town!

It is a hostile environment and I do not recommend it. I have never worked anywhere that turned a blind eye to a manager verbally abusing and humiliating staff until here. And despite the other managers knowing, it continues. It's disappointing because the facility is beautiful and had potential to be great. But as long as the staff is treated the way they are, the turnover will continue and continuity of care will continue to be lost. Support environments that are healthy for both resident and staff. Everyone deserves kindness and respect.Edit to add: Calling your office doesn't help. Your executive director verbally abuses the staff. Fix it. Everyone from the nurse manager down to the kitchen staff is aware of the abuse.
