My father stayed here in the last week or so of his life. He was 95 and a joy to all, including the staff at The Lodge. It was as close to being at home as you can imagine. They consider the loved ones as well as the person staying with them. Home cooked meals, gentle and loving care and interaction with others visiting loved ones made it much easier to say goodbye. They do long term are as well and speak of those guests like family. Please consider this if you have need. It was a longer drive but so worth it. My Dad passed looking out on a field, and for a farmer, that's already a bit of heaven. Many thanks to those at this special haven.
