My mother was treated horribly once the new owners took over, they told her numerous times that she needed to find a new place, then the final straw, they falsely accused her of smoking in her room and kicked her out. We had 10 days to move her. But they conveniently had another place for her lined up. She was on an elderly waiver, and they wanted more self pay.

My sister had a senior waiver, so she was treated like a vagrant. They accused her of smoking in her room and other things. They did what ever they could to remove her, to make room for private pay residents. She lived in hell the whole time she lived at the facility. Especially by the adm. Then she was evicted. Awful place!!!!

Smells like cat pee, cat on reception desk and cat toys in entrance area, residents appeared to be unkept, room like a dirty dungeon and old bed too small rude roommate, no dresser drawer or chair for me no bedding on the mattress, yuk! I was planning on being there for rehab after level 2 Spine fusion/ decompression, Appears to be understaffed. Very disappointed not the place I once worked at So sad

My grandma was placed here for hospice in her final days. The place we had originally chosen was full. It's been three years now and I am still haunted by how horrible the staff was there. Since then I have had other family pass in hospice care and was surrounded by people who truly cared about the dying and the family. Not at Lake Ridge though, they couldn't be more annoyed by the presence of the family or your loved one. Worst hospice experience ever. I should probably get over it but don't think I ever will. It was that bad.
