On the positive side, this is a beautiful facility. The staff is very caring and compassionate. The residents are well taken care of and its a very safe environment. The meals are well rounded and adjusted to meet the residents needs. The rooms are very bright and homey. The staff talks to each resident, addressing them by first name. Also, a very clean facility. On the negative side, it is EXTREMELY pricey. If a family has limited funds, it will quickly be depleted. Also, as a small sidebar, they wont trim hand or foot nails, so having a doctor come in to do this is an added cost, along with medications. We have had the unfortunate issue twice, of the nurses jumping the gun and calling for an ambulance only to be told by hospital staffing, that they had no idea why she was at the hospital. Since my friend has no insurance, these were more costly expenses owed by her. All in all, a beautiful, friendly community. Lots of friendly staff and a very safe facility. Just be prepared to have costs above and beyond the quoted prices of residency.

We are in the process of hiring an attorney and calling the state board on this facility. My mother was physically fine when she moved in and only had dementia. In her less than 3 month stay she lost 7% of her body weight, had bruised wrists, swollen knee and was limping, they drugged her up on anti-agitation medicine so she was stoned and she fell and fractured her pelvis. The emergency physician at the hospital said she should never of been on that medication. She is now in a wheel chair, diapers and has to be spoon fed.....this place has altered my mothers quality of life and should be held accountable for the additional care she will require the rest of her life due to their negligence!

I have visited on various occasions and found the atmosphere to be a caring environment for our loved ones and friends that need that special type of attention. From the moment you enter the front door you are treated as a valued guest and greeted with a smile. The compassion given by the staff to the residents I have come in contact has been good to see regardless of their position. The court yard is a safe secure place to explore a bit of freedom. The community rooms offer various activities to stimulate the memory process.
