Caremore of Flint / Hamilton Assisted Living

Of course I have a loved one in your care. My mother has been there for over 4 years. I've had continous issues with the manager. I have reached out to the owners numerous times to no avail.In response to the review that the home has been renovated, that is true and my mother loves her room. The issue remains with the diet provided. If you want your loved ones to eat frozen pizza, chicken nuggets and peanut butter sandwiches then it's a great place to pay over 3000$ a month. I've complained endlessly and even asked one of the owners if they would feed that to their mother. Unbelievable but mom has always been to ill to move. I'm sure her diet hasn't helped. The home looks nice now, however, there are still no activities, amenities or nutritional meals.This is NOT the home you want to put your loved one at. There are no amenities, activities or nutritional meals. I have reported them several times to LARA. Caregivers turnover is constant and all residents have moved out but 2 and 2 that are there temporarily.

My mother was at Hamilton Assisted Living (Caremore) in Flint, Michigan. The setting is home like which made my mother very comfortable. The environment is always very clean and inviting. The staff is very professional yet extremely caring for the residents and treat each other like a family. They did everything they could to personalize my mothers care and treated her with dignity and respect. She had multiple issues plus dementia and the staff communicated with family, which made my mother more comfortable in her last days. The staff works well with other agencies and they have a doctor and many other personalized services to enhance your loved ones stay. I would recommend Hamilton to anyone who really cares for their loved one and only wants the best care possible.
