My Mother moved to the American House from her own home where she lived alone with great trepidation. However the minute she walked in she felt welcome and knew she had found her new home. The American House is kept spotless, has lots of activities, and treats everyone as part of the family. My Mother was very happy there and got to know almost everyone. When her health was failing, the American House again stepped up their service and provided the assistance we needed. I would recommend the American House to anyone who is looking for an Assisted Living facility that is extremely clean and has very caring people working there that will treat your family like their family.

American House provided my mother a warm welcome, expert care and multifaceted support at a time when she needed it most. She needed to move somewhat unexpectedly and she was more than a little reluctant. The staff at American House were responsive, understanding, extremely kind and helpful. Honestly, they really saved the day in every way and I can not say enough good things about them. In a few short weeks my mother has made new friends, joined in many activities and is walking far better than when she got there. The building is attractive, very clean and nestled in nature. My mom called one day to say that there was a deer outside her window! The nursing staff and health aides are top notch. I would highly commend American House for anyone looking for excellent supportive care in a warm, family atmosphere.
