Dad has lived in their memory lane for 2 years now. I am writing this based on how they are handling covid. I haven't gotten to see dad in 2 months. My family is so worried but Tracey, Beatrice and Shari have been calling me with dad weekly so I can see him and talk to him. Shari has even been sending pictures of dad to me and my brother so we can see he is doing alright. He was so excited to see the easter bunny and helped hand out candies to his caregivers. According to their daily emails, noone has gotten sick there. That does not surprise me with how clean everything is and how tight a ship they run. Thank you to everyone! Enjoy the donuts from my brother and I. You ladies deserve it!

I disagree with the bad reviews. My dad has had the best experience here since he moved in earlier this year. Even through this tough time of Covid19, the staff has continued to give excellent service. Mike and his housekeeping team keep the place looking and smelling clean. My dad loves food and the dining staff is friendly and gives my dad seconds whenever he asks. My dad was always an introvert growing up, so he loves that Sheri and the activity staff come to his door everyday with activities and party carts and keep me connected through phone calls and video chat. Any questions I've had have been confidently answered by Beatrice, the new Executive Director. They've had no cases of Covid19, so I guess they've done something right. I've been able to rest easy since I know my dad is being taken care of. Just thought I'd add my two cents.

I see all of these bad reviews but I have not had anything but great experiences since my mom moved in 6 months ago. They have a new director and she has been a blessing during COVID. My brother and I receive daily announcements with pictures, the menu and other updates. Shari in activities has been face timing me weekly with mom so I can see how she is doing. It has been very hard being away from mom the last 2 months but I am so thankful for the care and love they are providing. My friend's dad lives in their dementia unit and she has also been happy with the care.

An employee named Shannon, went into the room of a resident, today (March 23,2020) at approximately 6;37 pm. Shannon took the cell phone away from the resident, the MIDDLE of a phone call, that the resident was having with his loved one. Shannon was talking rudely to the relative of the resident ( mind you, on the resident's private cell phone). Then Shannon on purpose hung up on that relative. This happen tonight to my friend..Why is Shannon allowed to still be employed at Morning Side? The employee Shannon is NOT respecting the resident right of Privacy, Right to use his own cell phone. Should an employee, take a cell phone away from a resident? No! Shannon did NOT have a right to even enter into the room of the resident and state' Are you talking to your relative?' MY tuff question is : Did a cruel Bully relative, call Shannon on the phone and tell Shannon, to go into this certain resident room, and take the phone out of the resident hand? Because when Shannon entered the resident room, Shannon said ' are you talking to your daughter? and then Shannon said ' give me your cell phone!' Why is this employee being allowed to work in an environment, with vulnerable adults.. Any person reading, please, ' LIKE' this if you agree, that Shannon overstepped ' Privacy boundary. This happened to my friend, tonight. Do Not send your loved one to this facility. Why haven't the employees been trained to : make sure they are Respecting, the Rights of the Residents, Respecting all visitors that visit the residents.Why haven't all the employees been trained, ' it is unprofessional' to take sides, in reference to possible family conflict.'

An employee named Shannon, went into the room of a resident, on March 23, 2020 at approximately 6:37pm, Shannon took the cell phone from the resident, during the MIDDLE of a phone call the resident was having with his LOVED one. Who does that ? What kind of employee, is still able to work around vulnerable adults? Shannon was talking rudely to the relative of the resident ( on the resident cell phone) Isn't this a Clear violation of the resident right to privacy? This resident is using his retirement savings to pay for his stay at this horrible facility . He wants to leave this facility and go home. Why isn't the owner of this facility allowing this Veteran, to go home to be with his wife? Please keep in mind, Shannon, on purpose, hung up on this resident, loved one. This is not Shannon job to be so rude, inconsiderate, and overstepping privacy boundary of the resident. Why is Shannon, allowed, to still be employed at Morningside at Satyr Hill? Shannon is NOT respecting the resident right to privacy, rights to use his own cell phone without interruption this happened to a friend of mine. Shannon DID NOT have a Right, to ask the resident ' Are you talking to your daughter?'My Tuff question ' Did a cruel, Bully relative ( of this resident) call Shannon, and tell Shannon to act like this?' Should the employees, be given Better training, that violating, the resident Rights are NOT appropriate! Also, Why is Vanessa allowed to tell this resident wife ' He is NOT ever going to his home, that he owns, Vanessa also said ' He is never going to live with you again.' Was she trained by Carrie ( the director) or was she trained by the owner to make untrue, and Rude comments?
