Their facility is beautiful. And it fooled us into believing it was the best place for my mother to recover when she broke her hip. What a shame. The dietician refused to provide her with a diabetic diet, there was always an excuse that my mother couldn't work out with the Physical and Occupational Therapists (the reason she was there), and it broke my heart listening to the bells ringing and calls for help from other patients who were being ignored by the staff. I know that so many of these places give minimal care. And it is shameful. Genesis Ballenger Creek may not be the worst but it's the worst I've seen and I'd never send a loved one there again.

My grandma was here for less then 2 weeks and then was transferred to a hospice since she wasnt getting the proper care needed and not receiving any food. It only took 2 weeks of not eating and being in the right conditions to make her eligible for hospice. Please dont go here. Find a better place with better reviews. God Bless.

Would be 0 stars if possible. My father was placed into this facility for rehab on a Friday evening. The next day they not only forgot to bring him meals but his meds as well. We spoke to people at the facility and hoped things had been taken care of only to find out they did the exact same thing the next morning. Please never, ever send any family members to this place. It is a complete joke and will most likely cause more harm than good.

My mother is currently staying at this facility and we've had no complaints so far. Easy to get ahold of nursing staff or financials mostly any time, everyone seems friendly and helpful for the most part. Lunch meals could be a bit better
