Hilltop Nursing Center

My dad recently was placed in this facility for rehab and since I live in Dallas I have to believe what they say that is going on. But I have tried my best to keep in contact with him during the pandemic by I pad and although I have been told that I can call anytime. That is,untrue. I am very unhappy with attitude that I have been getting recently and if I had a choice I think I would find somewhere eles. Some of the employees are outstanding but its a shame that the few that are not will cause this place to get bad reviews. Shame on you....and I work in the healthcare field and know that this is,not an easy rime for us but its not for them either. You don't like your job quit but do not take it out on the residence or family. I will be in Louisiana soon to handle this face to face believe me.

My mother stayed at Hilltop for several years, over that span of time Ive visited her several times a year, I live 10hrs away! If I announced to the staff I was coming my mother would be clean and well kept, unannounced and she was wearing filthy clothes and smelled of urine, a few weeks ago my sister visited her, when she arrived my mother was unresponsive in bed , after notifying the nurse of the situation several nurses went into the room, when my sister re-entered the room they had put her in a wheelchair still unresponsive unstrapped in the chair, an ambulance was called and she was transported to the hospital, 3 days later her right leg had to be amputated due to poor circulation and with obvious indications on her legs that this problem had developed way before the day she was transported. Our family doesnt want anyone else to suffer like we have! Steps are being taken to do just that! Stay clear of this place!

Horrible place treat the elderly like they owe them and treat there employees with disrespect as well I hope the place goes out of business so the elderly can have a better place to live if you have family here please check up on them and any signs of abuse.

This nursing home and rehab center is awesome.The home staff are professional and caring. The rehab employees work very hard to get the patient back o n their feet.I highly recommend Hilltop.My husband is a patient there . He lives bei ng there. He even lives the food. Lol.Thank you to all the employees and to the admi istration.
