My Mother was at Bridge Haven for nearly two years. Nearly each Saturday I was with her to help her with lunch and be with her. Of those 90+lunches not one was a repeat of the same foods. All were home cooked. The staff are professional and capable on Saturdays. (I live in Kansas City and did not get up to visit her outside of Saturdays). Staffing on those days was always ample. The atmosphere, cleanliness, brightness and engagement was always ranking at a 10 on my assessments. Never did I leave my Mother concerned about her care or well being. My profession is in health care. While I practice in Kansas City ... which is a distance from Bridge Haven ... I do recommend it for families in the right circumstances. Having explored and visited many similar care facilities ... I find Bridge Haven the best.

Every worker is great and gives attention to the residents. Also the building is kept clean and free from the usual retirement home smells.

My brother said it all! We had a terrible time with a big place. Bridge Haven is a small place but has the most staff of anywhere. And, a lot of the staff has worked for them for more than 5 years. One of the staff told me that this is the only place where they had enough staff to actually care properly for their residents. Thank you, lovely Bridge Haven staff, for loving our entire family!!!

We had a great experience at the Research Park Drive location for my mom. Everyone was so so kind and caring. And they care for more than memory patients. I highly recommend Bridge Haven.

I Worked at this place for a month. On my second shift ever working I was left alone to train a new employee because someone quit which was scary. The Idea of this place is very nice. The people who Manage it are not. They treat the employees like they are a number and are so tightly clicked up that if you have a complaint against one you will look for help to no avail. The management is very disorganized with training that accidents happen because there are uninformed employees on the floor and at night there is no nurse and sometimes no Medaide so good luck if a Resident needs immediate help. If you do speak up about a mistreatment there is no HR department to help so you will most likely be terminated wrongfully. The staff seemed very on edge when it came to the management which was unusual. I guess if things go wrong it trickles down hill. I gave two stars because I met some awesome employees and residents. Which brings me to my last concern since the staff is treated as unimportant there are always new people who are untrained working. This is very unsafe for the residents especially when dealing with residents who have dementia and alzheimers.
