The Meals on Wheels are microwavable for right now until June 22 when the center will be open for activities & I pay $1 for the week. Today's meal was chicken casserole with sliced wheat bread. watermelon chunks, carton of milk. I often get 2 meals, extra milk cartons which I enjoy a lot for a snack, with DG Toasty O's, mandarin oranges in a cup or other things for breakfast. I'm very greatful to the Director of Meals on Wheels, Friendship Meals. The seating area might slightly change as soon the meals will be in the dining area (2-4 per table with a safe distance) that sort of thing. Lots of cleaning & sanitizing at the Sr. Center for reopening Jun. 22. Hope to enjoy more activities, painting class, tours of interesting places if possible & other things.
