This place has the potential to be really amazing, unfortunately the new company is making so many changes, that dont necessarily benefit the residents, it's sad to see a beautiful place go downhill the way it has. I truly hope they can realize what this is doing to both workers and residents.

There is no place like home...receiving a warm welcome as I walked through the door, wondering what that amazing smell was, and then hearing resident say, 'I love my home here' I was instantly sold this was truely a family at Hilltop Lodge. As I tour through the building each resident has a cozy touch to their room. Every corner I turned there was some activity occurring. By the end of my visit I felt a part of the Hilltop Lodge Family. Thank you Hilltop for making a lasting impression on me and many others.

I went to my LPN program in Beloit in the 80's and did some clinical work at Hilltop Lodge. I later became a RN and a DON at another facility, we took our Residents to Hilltop every summer for an outing. Hilltop provided entertainment and fun for all the residents in their home. I have always liked Hilltop Lodge, it is in a small town where everyone is like family. I still have friends there. I am now a nurse practitioner but have never forgotten where my training started. I would give Hilltop a great review any day because I have known them for so many years. I know the staff are locals and truly care about providing for their loved ones in the community.
