Hello my name is Tracy Wharton and I am not one to post reviews of any business or facility ever, but I'm extremely applaud by the way I've witnessed very dedicated employees being treated by higher authority at Maquoketa Care. Especially during such a time in all our lives when we should be praising the people who show up at work just to take care of many clients that reside here. To witness a very dedicated employee after 5 years put her two weeks notice in because of issues with management really hit me the wrong way. I believe something should be addressed, and this issue should not just be swept under the rug. I'm not going to go into all other incidents in the past other very worthy employees had to go thru, I'm just going to pray and have faith this kind of treatment stops.

My husband was a resident at Maquoketa Care for 16 months suffering from Parkinsons and Dementia. The staff was so kind to him even though he was difficult at times. He had excellent care and I cant' say enough good things about our experience . I give them a 5 star rating.
