My Mother lives at MSL (3+ yrs), she has made this her home and enjoys the family atmosphere that is exhibited by everyone. The food is great and there is always something to do.

Beware! This facility has allowed people who are not related to their client and who have no legal documentation on their records, giving them any standing, to place orders on the care of the patient, specifically cutting off contact with family (restricting visitors, phone calls, etc.). These people are trying to gain control of the patient and the patient's assets while alienating them from family. It is any family's worst nightmare and the legal battle to protect this family member is just beginning. The ease at which this was done almost gives the impression that they are helping these criminals defraud their own patient. At the very least, it is mind boggling how a person not listed as power of attorney in their records can be given ANY authority to make restrictions for the patient or have ANY say in their care. We thought this was a nice facility too. Good food, friendly staff etc. Note: I have no dog in the legal fight to come either. (I.e. it's not my inheritance I am concerned with or anything). I am genuinely concerned for this relative that any money is going to be stolen by people committing fraud and theft, leaving them unable to survive their remaining years. Just wanted other people to be aware that this does happen locally, people do not need to be strangers in order for this to happen, and to always be cautious and watch out for loved ones.

It is a great friendly place. Some people are left out of activities, because they don't take them to the activities just ask them if they want to go. Also not enough going on for them. They need something every afternoon.
