My father-in-law recently entered Aster Place assisted living. We felt this was the best facility in the area, but it is also probably the most expensive. It is not new, but it seems to be newer than most of the other facilities. It is modern and it has many residents and many social opportunities. He likes the food and the staff. I think he is being well taken care of.

I moved my 92 yr. old mother here. Now she has a more active social life, and is well cared for. I feel welcomed by all when I come to visit.

Im so glad that this place may have improved. My father was there less than a year. I didnt want him there because he was a smoker and it was a no smoking facility. Not at all a good choice for him. But I lost leverage with the rest of my family and he ended up at aster place. He didnt last a year. He went out for a smoke and fell in the parking lot. If it hadnt been for a kitchen worker going out for a smoke, god knows how long he would have been lying there. He died from that fall.
