I very highly recommend Home Instead- Kokomo for Senior care for your loved one. The owner-operators and staff are excellent, caring and flexible!!! I could not be more happy with the safe, professional care my mom is receiving from her lovely caregivers. And owner/management is very patient and understanding of requests and my adjustments to schedules. I have a great peace of mind knowing mom is cared for when I cannot be there with her. When our 89 year old mother was diagnosed with terminal kidney failure, we knew we were going to need help with her during those final days. We asked the nurses at the hospital for recommendations, and while they could not recommend as a hospital employee, a couple nurses shared personal experiences of friends and family and Home Instead was the agency described as providing the best service. We found out ourselves how true that statement was. We arranged for 24 hour care, not only to take care of our mother's needs, but also to help my father, who was not in very good shape himself. The Home Instead team treated my parents as if they were THEIR parents, with care and dignity and thoughtfulness. The night my mother died, the office manager came to the home with dinner for everyone, and the staff took care of all the necessary preparations while waiting for the funeral home people to arrive. I would recommend Home Instead to anyone in need of in-home care for their loved ones.
