I was employed with Golden for a full year and two months as the companys Certified Dietary Manager. I accepted this position because I wanted to make a change and improve the quality of life for so many seems desolate elderly and disadvantaged individuals. I took this position seriously working relentlessly hours upon hours even 11 day in a row commitments assure that our department stayed on top! to Prove sanitation in our department and retaining employees. I worked with passion and dignity and I. A highly ethical manner. I met my challenge after our State Board of Health thoroughly inspected my department with no deficiencies.The very next day my labor hours were cut literally in almost half. And all compensation for our staff to work extra dissappeared! Yet I stillKept my loyal staff and worked hard to care about our department. So I asked for more staff to provide quality of customer service and provide a possible person directed program did not happenI resigned am and now working in a great beutiful person directed care home for our elderly how rewarding! I do pray for all of our lost ones in the nursing homes across the United States I was never compensated by the company for all of the extra hours I put in I have a 30 day notice and worked many many extra hours on salary the company never paid me my regular salary how wrong! I give the corporation a 1 star only for our direct nursing care at this point no management what to speak god bless our elderly

this place is an absolute JOKE. between missing clothes, ruined shoes they were supposed to replace over 3 months ago, taking paitents WHO ARE WHEEL CHAIR BOUND to the wrong drs appointments and then leaving them there for HOURS so they soil themselves, puddles of water on the floor ignored even after its beeen brought to their attention causing vistors to slip and injure themselves... the list goes on. i have given this place the benefit of the doubt so many times and ive had enough of the never ending excuses they provide for their negligence. this facility either needs to be shut down or restaffed entirely (including the director and adminstrative staff) with people who actually care about caring for people who need help. it is a shame how they treat the elderly and their residents.
