My mom has been at this facility for almost a year now. The people there are wonderful . They treat you like family. I tell everyone if your parents have dementia to bring them to this facility these people are awesome. When mom had a little bit of her mind she told me she liked it here and the people were nice to her. The food is really good to. I am very happy with Elkhart Meadows thank you for taking great care of my mom.

My grandfather is in the Meadows and the staff really takes good care of him. Every time I visit I am welcomed and he tells me how nice they are to him, even though sometimes he isnt as nice. I really appreciate the great work Dawn and her staff do taking care of my Grandfather.

The staff seems to be very attentive to the patients different stages of dementia. They seem calm & caring as they interact personally with each one of them. The rooms are a bit small and the building being older could use some attention. The dining room area is nicely set for each meal with tablecloths & the staff waits on the residents with patience and respect. When we had a few issues concerning specific personal care issues, we were immediately put in touch with the proper staff and were able to share our feelings, being assured more attention would be given to correct them. Overall, this being only one of a very limited facilities for dementia patients locally , this is a good memory care community.
