If you are staying in the rehab unit, it is gorgeous and well decorated. As for the rest of the place where the retirement/elderly stay is just like a bland, white hospital. I would never send my parent here. Now I will say instead of one star, I did give two because I used to work at this location in 2012 so my information is not current.I will say that while working there, an unhealthy amount of workers were inconsiderate to patients and definitely treated their shift like a 'job' and not a passion.

Only good thing I can say about this place is the food seemed to be above average for rehabilitation hospital food. My mother was transferred on a weekend. They had three employees for approximately 200 rooms. The staff was better during the week. However, they kept trying to put my mother on a bathroom schedule. She has MS, she has to go when she has to go. Schedules will not work because her nerves do not work normally. I wanted to pull her out after a nurse left her sitting in an unlocked wheelchair in a side hall, asleep, and completely unsupervised. The nurse did this because they would not respond to the nurse call buttons and she would get up to go to the bathroom on her own, usually causing her to fall. I moved my mother into her room, put her to bed. I did not see that nurse for about an hour later. I talked with the nurse, the social services, and her doctor about my mothers neglect. They assured me that she would be better cared for and mom decided she wanted to stay.Yesterday, while in physical therapy, she was refused to go to the restroom and dedicated in her pants as a result. That was the last straw for my mother. My father pulled her out today. If your loved one needs any kind of special care, seek another more specialized service. This is definitely just a place that you need to be able to care for yourself and just get physical therapy.

I am a vendor who visits Danville Regional Rehab twice a month. The employees are always welcoming and friendly. The facility is clean and refreshing. The residents are happy and friendly as well. I go there to scatter Joy and find they have enhanced my Joy when I leave.

My husband was here for rehab. We have only praise for the nurses, aides, the therapists, social workers, etc. everyone was wonderful and went above and beyond. The food was always delicious and served with a smile. We know where to go if he ever needs rehab again. He is now getting home therapy through their homecare program, Anew, and we are very pleased with them as well.
