My little sister was here less then two years. She had many items stolen. We looked further and there are inventions into mistreatment. There's going to be another one for her. She fell a lot, chipped tooth, a multitude of bruising by the time she went into hospice. It is understaffed with too many beds. Eventually they stopped giving my mom any information about her. If you have a loved one and considering this place I feel like a nursing home in your area would be better then this place. If you admit a loved one better plan to be there daily. This might be ok for early Huntington's, but, late stage no way. They do not have the capability or the manpower.

My daughter Ginney has been at Summerfield for 5 years, She has always received the very best care by the entire staff. The staff is the most loving and caring that I have ever observed anywhere. When any resident has a problem the entire staff responds immediately in unison to resolve it. The staff is very friendly and always go out of their way to meetthe needs of the residents and their families. Highly recommend for anyone with Huntington Disease.
