I am going by a different name on here due to privacy issues. My grandmother was no doubt abused here. She was stolen from, physically harmed and even accused of being racist, difficult, crazy, and was constantly gaslighted. She has since passed away and now I feel that it time to speak up. While she was being taken to the hospital for a 'fall' she was told by a CNA that 'maybe bad things wouldn't happen to you if you weren't such a bad person.' She cried all the time and begged us not to tell anyone for fear it would escalate. Also, multiple times I went and the expensive beauty products I had gifted her would be entirely missing. Not only this but also cash. She didn't spend 100s of dollars on bingo... We ended up changing her to a different home and it improved her cognitive state entirely. She was so much healthier out of here.This place is the definition of somewhere where your loved one will rot while being abused. I think this is partly due to being understaffed and overworked. That said, I still cry when I think about the months that my grandmother suffered here silently. Please spare your loved one and take them somewhere else to be happy and safe. I would not have written this if it did not still disturb me to this day. I only wish my grandmother had been well enough to file a lawsuit and shut this place down.
