Great place for your love one to call home

As I was researching and reading reviews after reviews with all the assisted living around the area, this was my top pick! We did a tour and everything went good but unfortunately,I am very picky when it comes to where my loved one stays! I wanted her to have a safety environment and when I was doing my research, I read in google that one of your nurses have a criminal charge! That was really a big NO to me. A place like this should ALWAYS double check and make sure your nurses/assistant nurse are of clean record.

Very nice rooms - good sizes with kitchenettes and in-unit washer dryers. You can bring your own furniture. My loved one is very happy here and has made a ton of friends. The residents get along very well because it is a smaller community. They do nice events for the residents (luaus, movie screenings, holiday parties, singers, outings to the casino and even horseback riding at a place in Burr Ridge!). The residents play games every day (bingo and rummikube?). Well maintained and the nursing staff is younger and has more energy to help out. They have done a good job helping my loved with manage her diabetes. They cannot force you to eat certain foods or abstain from certain foods for those who are tempted by all the food, but they have reasonable portion sizes and the food is good.
