The Oaks Manor

Oaks Manor was a blessing to our family while we tried to navigate the transition of a day facility to an on site apartment for our Mom. They were understanding and supportive and went over and above to facilitate a smooth transition. Our mom is safe, secure, and enjoying the family of staff and residents. I can not recommend Oaks Manor highly enough, it is a community treasure!

The Oaks Manor is a fabulous facility. While there my mother received the best care ever. She most definitely considered it home. There are lots of activities going on and everyone is like one big family. I never had to worry about her as long as she lived there.

My mother-in-law lives at Oaks Manor in Oakland, Illinois. She enjoys delicious and nutritious home cooked meals. Her family can join her for a meal when they wish and the food is excellent! She has a beautiful two room apartment where she can keep her own furniture and collectibles. The staff are so nice to the residents and treat them like family. Activities such as arts and crafts, card games and informational seminars on all types of subjects are interesting and well planned. Musical programs from area residents are enjoyed by all. Family and friends are encouraged to visit and participate!Oaks Manor provides a warm and safe environment for folks who need a little assistance. We are so happy that Mom chose to live here. We never worry for her safety, she no longer has the burden of a home with insurance and maintenance costs. She can participate in organized activities or just enjoy the quietness in her room and watch her favorite ball teams on TV. I highly recommend Oaks Manor as an assisted living home. I would also like to send a big thank you to all of the staff who care for Mom! You are wonderful and much appreciated by Mom and her family!!
