Riverside Miller Rehabilitation

The staff is caring, competent, compliant and kind. I work up North in more southern Chicago suburbs and refer people to this location regularly. They were 5 star rating prior to covid and have done a wonderful job managing and caring through the pandemic. Every family that I follow up with has been grateful for their care. Worth the drive from up north to have peace of mind your loved one is in good hands!

I do not recommend this care facility to anyone. My father stayed for a little over 2 weeks. He dehydrated once and fell several times (that we know of). We would hit the call button for help to use the bathroom and no one came day after day. The nurse working on F hallway past the nurses station on March 8 in the evening should be ashamed of herself and definitely doesnt deserve a job working in any care facility. She stood right outside his door listening to us needing help, never bothered to assist. I then asked her specifically for help and she told me the CNA was helping someone else. She never offered to help...even after 20 minutes...and to top it off...she wouldnt make eye contact or even look up from her computer while I was asking her questions. She was extremely unprofessional and very rude. When the poor CNA did come out of the other room...she looked like she was 9 months pregnant. She was very nice but how could she help a very unsteady 220 lb man? Belittling for a grown person let alone the elderly that desperately need help. I would NEVER recommend using this nursing home to anyone.

My poor mother would ring her bell for 15 min at a time & no one would ever respond forcing her, on several occasions, to hold her urine all night because no one would come help her to the restroom. This is unacceptable! She is a paying customer & deserves to be treated with dignity & respect ! I would never recommend this place to anyone.
