Avantara Evergreen Park

This place is the most terrible when it comes to patient care. It sometimes take them over an hour to respond to a patient's call button ! If they were in need of immediate help like a heart at they would be dead !

The entire staff facility, cna's, lpn's,kitchen, social service, Occupational therapist, and the physical therapists are friendly,professional, loving, enjoyable, encouraging I'm a patient presently and it's like I'm at home with family , they never have an attitude or seem like your irritating, also the doctors come and check on you at night and day I absolutely love this facility. And your pet can visit ..extra star for that .I would tell anyone to come her for your tharaputic services.The food was decent also.

Being apprehensive about having to go to a rehab was heavily on my mind. Not knowing what to expect and wanting to be safe, this was not my option. That is until I saw a vision board of Avantara Evergreen Park. It seemed so wonderful and too good to be true. However, I had to face the fact I needed help beyond my hospitalization of open heart surgery.So upon my arrival, I was checking it out to see if it really was how I envisioned it. It was and so much more! Being groggy from all medication while in the hospital, I couldn't really express my feelings of security and allow myself to rest knowing I was in the right place. Being guarded, I quickly had a paradigm shift of knowing all is well and I am where I am to spend my rehab time. What stood out to me is everyone I came in contact with asked me the same question with sincerity and genuine concern. When I heard 'Is there anything I can do for you or do you need anything?' It took me by surprise because I was not use to hearing that in the heartfelt manner it was presented. Usually, I would say a cup of ice, until it registered to me what I wanted.For the time I was there this continued with each pleasant smile and good morning greeting that helped me to get better each day. Finally, I had to leave and I can earnestly say I wanted to stay because it was definitely the next best thing to being home.Excuse my lengthy words, but to express Avantara truthfully it would take an entire page. I would like to thank all staff; Directors, Doctors, Nurses, CNA's, Chef (excellent menu each day), the Lab, OT/PT (especially your patience), Guest Services and finally the Social Worker who helped me to prepare for home when I wanted to stay. lolThank you..LPL/Taxdoctor

Worst service ever. This place reeks of urine. They take forever to come and see about your loved one. Ill give it no stars if I could! Please dont bring your relative here.

This place need to be shut down immediately! Nothing but garbage. I was here visiting my family and I can hear staff up at nursing station in the front talking bout bed bugs and moldy food being served. State needs to shut this place down. Administrator wont return phone calls. richard is always on his phone dont ever look up form it. He know nothing. He is too immature to be a nurse manager too worried about socializing then working. I wouldnt even put my worst enemy here.
