My mother moved to 'The Manor' some years ago. The whole family fell in love with her new place. We've all commented that the food is gourmet! The staff are truly caring wonderful people. They keep the facility pristine clean and warm in the winter, cool on hot summer days. I believe each apt. controls its own temperature. There is a sunny cheerful swank style in furniture and sensation as you walk through the hallway. I would love to move in myself but not my time just yet. Thank you for facilitating a nice place to live toward the later years of my mother's life. They were good days.

I remember being skeptical when my mother moved in about two years ago, but she loves it. She calls me all the time to tell me about what she's up to, and it honestly sounds like she has a better social life than I do. Her and the other residents are all friends, and just the other day I guess they took the residents to the lake! I'm so happy that my mother is happy and content where she is. I would highly recommend Barb City Manor to anyone looking for an easy transition from home life to retirement home life.

Barb City Manor is very well run and the social activities that they offer their for the residents are very good in my opinion.
