Thought the food was good and served well. CNA's were very helpful. Very nice surroundings and atmosphere. Extra sweets given in the Sweet Shoppe! Therapy personnel also very helpful and willing to do extra!

The Bounce Back therapists in Rehab are really good. Residents receive many hours of therapy from excellent physical therapists. The staff in the activity room seem real nice and friendly too. However, unless a resident can or will ask for help or if the resident can or will get to the hallway independently, it is unlikely they will get attention or get to any social activity. If there are CNAs in the hall, they are chatting with each other. The CNAs seem to be nice and do what they have to do when asked, but do no more. Some CNAs could be getting residents to social activities or checking/visiting residents in their room. Some CNAs need to look busy. Some are busy. Residents will get to scheduled physical therapy if they are in Bounce Back. They probably get to lunch but meals are not individualized and if you can't cut it, you can't eat it. However, when moved to skilled care nursing facilities, the hallways are even more deserted. On the other hand, compared to other nursing facilities, it appears to be ok. It is clean. It doesnt smell bad when you walk in. Nursing staff and CNAs do respond very nicely when asked for something by family. I'll add to this review periodically. Things do change quickly.

My mother was taken to Manor Court on 10/25 at about 3:30 PM she was greeted with smiles and attentive people that appeared to have her needs understood and handled. So I left with confidence that she would be cared for as I would have cared for her. A about 8:30 I received a call from my mom and I was in formed that she laid there with no supper or drink of any kind. She had also requested pain medication and had not received it as of the time she had called me. So I called the main number talked to a CNA explained my concerns, she apologized and explain that they had the public trick or treat event for the residents. the person I talked to explained about the trick or treating event and said I am so sorry! I will go check on her now. It was busy. She asked me to call back in 20 minutes. I am so disappointed! I cried most of the night. I thought I placed my mom in a good facility. I will give them a few more days and we will see. This will probably never be seen by anyone important but at least I have said my peace. See

So far not at all impressed, first weekend my mother has been there. The lunch was dried out chicken patties and steamed carrot. My mother was told they didn't have time to help her shower. Furthermore normally the shift coordinator would be able to answer concerns but none working the weekend ( so no supervisors on the weekend ). My mother has Dr appointments on Monday and although she was told she would be taken to her appointment's they want to arrange mass transit and can't even guarantee that. What are we paying for.
