My great grandmother stayed here. She got amazing care. I always felt like her needs were being met and the staff went out of their way to make her comfortable.

I am an ex employee of Ashley Manor on Corey Lane in Boise, and I would not recommend that place to anyone! The cleanliness is deplorable, the food is awful, and the staff could careless. The only thing they care about is how much money they're making due to all the overtime from lack of staffing. They fight in front of residents using foul and abusive language, their lack of empathy is just wow, and the management really need to fire alot of those women who are the cause of the problem! These people are the most unprofessional and lazy bunch I have ever seen. When one dies, they quickly clean rooms and put a new one in. Shame on them for the false advertising!!! You want to know how bad it is, talk to the residents, they'll tell you. Don't let the fake smiles fool you!!

Update: Thanks to Stacie, the administrator, for reaching out to me personally and apologizing for the way I had been spoken to. She reassured me that this is most definitely not how they treat families of their clients, told me to keep her phone number should I ever need to call. She also gave me much better information on how my dad is actually doing and adjusting at his new home. Thank you Stacie! I feel so much better now.I may change my review once I've gone to the facility to visit my dad. I called this evening at about 5 pm, a seemingly younger gal answered the phone. I said I was calling to see how my dad was doing, as he's only been there 4 days and they've recommended no visitors or phone calls directly to him for the first week for adjustment. The girl got a snippy tone with me and asked 'Who's calling?' I informed her of who I was and who my dad is. She told me 'He's doing good but he's really been craving soda, so if you guys could bring him some...and he's only got two packs of cigarettes left'. I told her I'd inform my sister who is the closest to him in location. That was literally all I got out of her on how he is adjusting to his new home. Seriously unimpressed so far. She never gave me her name.

My mom had ALS and stayed at Ashley Manor for just over two months. She recently passed and I feel compelled to post a review. I would not recommend this facility due to the lack of training they give their new staff. Sadly, my mom suffered due to the lack of training and concern showed by staff. I was told Ashley Manor was one of the two best assisted living facilities in Mountain Home - if this is the case, I cant imagine how bad the other facilities are.
