The residents make everyone feel so welcome. The dining experience is fabulous, just like eating in a regular restaurant with so many mix and match choices or you can have the featured menu of the day. ALWAYS delicious! I love that so many families enjoy the events like Grandparents Day, BSU home game parties, opera, dancing and so much more. Sherrie does an amazing job at providing the entertainment and activities that residents can choose to be active everyday. The lodge-like decor is exactly spot on with an Idaho feel with cozy stone fireplaces to beamed ceilings. I feel as if I am in the Sun Valley Lodge. The staff are exceptional and have said more than one occasion that 'They are privileged to work in residents home'. They treat residents as if they were family. Way to go Garden Plaza!

The staff was incredibly nice, the atmosphere of the staff and residents was quite happy and it was clean. To add to the experience, the food was quite tasty! Finally, the greatest part of it was that we expect to send our loved ones here when it is time. Thank you for the tour and information.

I visited many senior facilities for my mother in the Boise/Meridian area, and by far the best one is Garden Plaza of Valley View for many reasons. The exterior and interior are so beautifully appointed - it resembles an upscale ski lodge. The extensive lobby, dining room, gym, laundry room, common areas, elevators, etc. were all warm, inviting, spacious, attractive, and friendly. There are several floor plan options that would meet a variety of needs and tastes. The food is delicious - the international chef has been there for many years making sure the residents get tasty fresh meals. There are many interesting and fun activities available to keep the residents engaged and to create connections. Best of all, the staff are superb. I met with Lesly Cook (sales associate) several times and she is extremely accommodating, supportive, patient, and kind. She is so helpful with information, communication, and support during every step of this process. I would highly recommend visiting with Lesly and going on a tour of Garden Plaza if you are looking at senior facilities in this area.
