My Aunt was there a few months ago and we were so happy that she was well taken care of! She loved the food and socializing with her friends. She always went to activities. Would recommend to anyone

Would give this place 0 stars if I could. I worked here for almost 4 years. Recently quit. Because I couldnt take it anymore. This place needs an overhaul, starting with the administrator, they hide a lot of things, especially about residents and accidents/incidents. Resident was found on the floor in her room in the memory care unit, they told the family the resident slipped in the shower. NOT TRUE! there are residents that should be in nursing homes because they require so much care. Memory Care is almost always short staffed, at this point their hiring aides with no experience whatsoever, & just throwing them in buildings without the proper training. People thats not cna or cma certified is responsible for giving patients medication. The nurse Dessa is so unprofessional and rude to her staff, she refers to her staff members as b i t c h e s' and she has used this reference in front of Kim the administrator and Melissa-Human Resources, but they always uphold her because they are 'friends'You cant go to Kim for concerns or comments because she acts as if Dessa is her Superior. So many GREAT staff members have recently left due to poor management. This company needs to be shut down ASAP! The food from the kitchen is horrible. Even the Kitchen Supervisor has recently resigned. The rooms arent properly cleaned, there Never is enough gloves to! We were told we were using too many gloves!! From common sense and knowledge, I know were supposed to change gloves after we change each resident! We barely had toilet paper. The raises they give you yearly are a slap in the face. Maintenance is a complete joke, all he does is stand around and chain smokes. Never fixes anything in a timely manner. There has been 3 different nurses within a year alone in memory care!! Its so frustrating because all the residents are so sweet and you hate to leave them, but since I have left, my stress level is down and its like a breath of fresh air This place is awful and overpriced. Rent goes up at least $80-200 a year. Tracey never does activities, she just walks around and vapes all day and sits in the office gossiping with Dessa.she only post pictures on Facebook to throw the families off. Dessa is mean, and a compulsive liar she belittles her staff & lies to residents family members. Kim condones all of this behavior and its disgusting. Anyone reading this, please take my advice and find your family members a better facility to go to, cause memory care should have been shut down, state was called for non cmas passing meds, I have documented everything I experienced, from dates and times of incidents and problems I ran in to. Night shifts only comes in to sleep. Residents are left wet and poopy. And this causes breakdowns in the skin. I should have left sooner, but I thought I could make a difference, you cant be a superhero, sometimes its better to let go and have your peace of mind. All of the good staff members have left like, Tammy Williams. Robert Hall. Marcie Dawson. Yamesia Solomon, just to name a few that comes to mind. Thank you all for taking your time to read this. They bribe residents familys for Good reviews or they post false ones themselves. Administration, Kim and Emily... very off putting individuals. they take everything lightly except gossip about themselves, then they will threaten you. They cant keep rooms filled in MCU because of the active nurse, Dessa. They have untrained, unlicensed staff distributing medicine, narcs to resident. The staff have made mistakes that cost residents lives and administrators ignored. They are very secretive about the well being of residents. Dessa is not honest. Shes told tall tales to families about the residents and they sadly believe it (Eg. Mrs.Cranford below). Activities are short, they take just enough pictures for social media. Residents are never fully engaged in Memory Care. Please find another suitable Assisted Living! This one has gone downhill over the years and plenty of families have suffered.
