I have visited Greene Point Nursing Home. Taking into consideration its an older building, it could be kept cleaner, there are roaches crawling around, dirty dishes piled up in stacks several feet tall in the kitchen. The staff seems friendly but the residents are being neglected. They will ask the staff for help, they will be ignored for hours. I wouldnt let an animal live at Greene Point Nursing Home.

My parents were taken to Green Point Nursing Home because several years ago it was a nice nursing home, and that is where they wanted to go. It's an old facility, not kept clean anymore. There are dirty dishes piled up in the kitchen, roaches crawling around in the rooms, the bathroom sinks don't have hot water. The staff are smiling and friendly to your face, but many of the people living there are neglected. Within a few months my mother passed away, and less than a week after she died, my dad was in the hospital. My dad passed away 15 days after mom. So, if you want your loved ones neglected and forgotten, take them to Green Point Nursing Home.

Staff are friendly enough. Residents are treated well from my point of view. Not always the cleanest place and have often appeared to be understaffed.
