Good Vibes
This is an answer to my prayers. From the minute I walked in the door I was greeted with a cheerful smile. I was so nervous. I was getting information to move my Mom in. Jodi very quickly picked up on my stress, and made me feel comfortable. I could instantly tell that she genuinely cared not just for my Mom but me as well. She showed me around and answered all of my questions. Other staff members stopped to say hello and introduced themselves. Everyone looked so happy. It really gave me a sense of peace about the decision I was facing. Everyone that I have met along the way as been so encouraging, and loving. I feel like this is one big family. Now I don't dread the move nearly as much.

Ashley Glen is the second place my mom has lived once she needed care. The first place was big so she was lost in the crowd. My mother in law lived here before she moved to another city to be close to family. Since we had such a good experience with her, we moved my mom in. People who came to visit her said she was like a new person. I attribute this to the care she receives at Ashley Glen. They love on her and pay attention to her. This really picked her up. I like that Ashley Glen is a small, intimate facility. They have low staff turnover. Everyone knows everyone. Its like living with your family. They also do their best to keep residents in the common area instead of cooped up in their rooms watching TV. There are lots of activities suited to the residents. They can participate or just watch. I highly recommend Ashley Glen.

Our mother lived at Ashley Glenn 2015-2016 before moving back to Missouri to be with another sister. From top to bottom she was well taken care of at Ashley Glenn. Shes a loner but they were able to coax her into participating in games, entertainment events, exercises, etc. She always ended up smiling. Soon after she moved north my sister's mother-in-law moved from Arbor Terrace to Ashley Glenn and ended up living in my moms old room. She has been much happier in the quieter, smaller environment. Shes been there a few years now and going strong. Ashley Glenn not only cares for those who live there but also the resident families. A very close knit place.

Worst facility Ive ever seen. My grandmother has been here for a few months now and does not receive care. They over medicate her, under medicate her and even just forget to give her the medications she is prescribed. Not only that but they do not watch residents. Many times my grandmother has fallen along with other residents, but the bruises look more like someone is beating the residents. Staff cant do their jobs, let residents starve, forget about them and yell at them. The place is a mess half the time and Ive seen residents sitting in their own feces. Absolutely disgusted at all the praises this care center is being given when they dont know the first thing about taking care of anyone. Deserves 0 or negative stars but google doesnt allow.

My elderly father fell and broke his hip in June 2016, he later was placed in Ashley Glenn where he stayed about 5 months. My sisters and I were not pleased with the lack of care he received, nor were we happy with a lot of the staff. He passed away there January 1, 2017. Many regrets.
