Westbury Health And Rehabilitation

My mother has been here several times in the past couple years, the last time being in Feb. 2020. The staff is so personable, attentive and kept me up to date on any changes with my mom. She never had to wait on her call bell to be answered and she was always kept very clean. She looks forward to going to Westbury when she needs rehab! I would recommend this facility to anyone!!

A friend of mine was here and we transferred her to Laurel Park Health and Rehab. This center smelled of urine and the staff were so rude to her. I had to come and sit with her daily because no one would answer her call light. The kitchen would send her the wrong type of meal and it was terrible food. She only stayed five days and she transferred.

My mother was there for around 5 weeks from June to July 2019. I had previously heard horrible things about Westbury in the past, but a friend's parents were both there in the beginning of the year and she had no complaints. My mom had previously been to Laurel Park, Stockbridge, 3 times over 2 years and each time it got worse and worse, so I decided to take a look into Westbury. When I arrived they took me to see her room; yes, it is older but it was very clean!! After talking to the staff, I decided that this was a much better choice and it was!! When my mother enters a facility, I always go through and wipe out all the drawers, the closet, bathroom and bed. I have to say that it was clean!! I cannot say that about LP. While my mom was there, she had the best care she has had in a rehab facility!! The nursing staff, CNAs and therapists were all top notch!! They were not understaffed and the employees LOVED their jobs!!! My mom was so happy during her stay! I cannot say enough good things about Westbury!! She was on Westbury Hall.
