i service this facility as an outside healthcare worker. They are going above and beyond with renovating. Everything has a nice fresh look about it now. The staff is marvelous, especially Laquanna, the wellness director. She goes out of her way to help me with the residents. She always knows where everyone is and she is extremely organized, making my visits much easier. The receptionist, Barbara, also is very helpful. She has such a great rapport with the residents and knows whats going on all the time. These two ladies make my experience, here at colonial, very pleasurable. Considering the times we are dealing with, most facilities have been hit hard with COVID-19, however, the well-being of the residents and keeping them protected, is Colonials number one priority. This facility has had zero positive cases, which is a breath of fresh air!

I went here for a interview for security officer and wasn't told until I got there that they require a level 2 background check and its $96 and change that you have to pay for through them, had I known that I would have never agreed to the interview it was a complete waste of my time. The building had window ac units, it's hot in the lobby and they also sell cigarettes to the resident's from the lobby desk. If Unprofessional was a place this would be it. There was a resident that came through the lobby while I was there and was telling her daughter that she cooks her eggs in the microwave, I wouldn't work here nor ever send a family member here. Stay clear people stay clear.

From the front desk to housekeeping, maintenance to the kitchen, nursing and admin., I always get the impression that they care deeply about the residents and their jobs. Visiting a Colonial facility feels like family.
