I don't normally write reviews but everytime I drive past this place I get a sick feeling in my stomach that makes me want to tell my story. My dad has dementia, he was massively abused and neglected at this place and I have pictures to prove it. They are massively understaffed and the guy that's in charge thinks he's running a prison instead of a place to comfort our elderly. Needless to say my dad no longer resides here!

My Mom was there during the ownership teansitran. Nice surroundings. However, the food went down hill. Most troubling was the staff was checked out and self absorbed. I understand that the new owners have turned things around. There's lots of senior facilities in the area. They may not have the visual appeal of Sumter. I would really watch for the availablility and attitude of the staff when you are looking at any senior facility.
