We have never had a Missy Hawk live here in the 6 yrs I've been here. I also do not handle the funds of the facility. People just love to berate our staff, residents, and facility because they are clueless and uneducated when it comes to the mentally ill. People that have never been here have no clue and love to post lies. If we didn't help these people, they would be homeless. And there is no one sitting here making tons of money at the rate of $750 month. I usually don't comment on these ignorant remarks, but our residents deserve respect and not belittling because they have a psych issue. We welcome anyone that wants to come look around.

Caring people. This place takes the clients that no one else will help. They are not in it to make money. They genuinely care for the less fortunate. Many people dont understand how difficult it is to care for the mentally ill. Theres limited to no support from the government and community. They are providing a service that many people would not bother to do.

When my family and I were in FL this past September, we stopped to make a visit to see my biological mom, who has been living at Loving Care of St Petersburg for over a year now. I genuinely appreciate the way that they care for her, since she has mental health illnesses as well as other disabilities. I can call to talk to her anytime I want and can also share my concerns with them about her, knowing that they have doctors who will check on her further as needed. The staff is great with her as well as the other residents and they really care. Staff interacts with them well and goes above and beyond to ensure the residents are well taken care of despite the lack of funding from our government. The people posting negative comments on here must not have anyone with a mental illness or a disability in their lives so they just don't understand how important it is for them to be able to have a roof over their head, a shower they can use, a bed they can sleep in, doctors and staff on hand who care about them, meals and snacks anytime they want or need, as well as be able to develop a bond with others there that become like family to them, all the while feeling like they can be independent to come and go as they please. However, my mom was staying at another living facility, before coming to Loving Care of St. Pete, and she loves this place much more. Thank you all for taking care of her so well and keep up the great work! I wish I could give this review 10 stars!
