Summit at New Port Richey Assisted Living & Memory Care

I am so sorry that no one was there to welcome her and show her around or even take her to her room. We took her to the the dining room We just left her there, how depressing!!. NOT A GOOD WELCOMING

My mom has been at this facility for a few months now, I was promised the star treatment and found out we can't even get the basic necessities, the door that leads outside, is electric open, it doesn't work, you get stuck outside if no one is in the lobby to let you in.The laundry facility has been out of order since before Christmas and is still, the weekly cleaning of the rooms only happens, if you happen to see the cleaning lady and chase her down,and ask her to come clean. Doctor appointments have to get canceled because there is no driver. Same with bathing assistance, mom often runs out of toilet paper and has to ask for it...BAD

This place is only half nice...the majority of the staff is under qualified. There is a constant battle for hierarchy between the staff. The med techs have no medical training and are allowed to make medical decisions for the residents. They consistently lose orders from physicians resulting in improper medications being given. Getting updates on physician appointments is nonexistent, although I was told this would happen. The assistance given to residents with their daily business, such as health insurance, medical equipment, and choosing providers, leaves much to be desired. To make things worse, the owner refuses to make the needed improvements/repairs causing residents to live in unacceptable conditions, while cutting budgets for food and daily items the residents require.The up side is that Jane is wonderful..she is pleasant and has the residents best interest at heart. The residents are friendly and have a resident council to ensure that they do not get bored. The facility is very nice, if it was properly maintained.

OMGOODNESS this place is amazing! My mom is such a different, happier, energetic person since coming to NPRC! They do so many activities with the residents and give them life again! All the employees are so amazing but Korey has went above and beyond for us! I praise God for her!!

Lovely community! Friendly people. The staff have the biggest hearts and I highly recommend visiting. 5 stars for all the right reasons!
