Every job has their pro's and con's the healthcare field is a very high demand field, it has a high turnover rate, I am currently a LPN at this facility and I couldn't ask for better co workers, my co worker nurse is the most amazing nurse I've worked with,we help each other it's real team work. Every place has highschool drama, if you can just ignore the BS and do your job it's not bad , After a year and 7months its time to move on and I'm tired of working skilled patients under ALF rules/ loopholes for less money then when I first got out of nursing school, at 1st it wasn't bad, our DORS & ED at the time where great they actually stood up for us and had our backs , now it appears to be about HONESTLY NOTHING but paperwork, there are way too many hands in the cookie jar when it comes to PATIENT care , I stuck it out for as long as possible, but I know MY WORTH & I gotta go out there and get my worth especially in times like these, corporations got lots of COVID benefits but very few are looking out for their employees, when a Publix 16 yr old cashier is only making 5$ less then a 5 year nurse there's a BIG ISSUE.

A family member has been at the Cala Hills facility since December, 2017. The entire staff, from the Director on down, creates a caring environment in every respect. I have dealt with other facilities with other family members and Cala Hills is, by far, the best one I have ever experienced.
