They have a caring staff that takes good care of my mother. The facility is clean and the food is just okay. Their Holiday events were wonderful for both the residents and the family. They have an activities director that is awesome. I am also very thankful to the volunteers that come in and entertain during the week. We are very fortunate to have this place for my mother. It takes special people to be able to do this type of work and to me they ARE very special and greatly appreciated. They should be compensated more for what they do. One negative and that is no set person to do laundry. How can you not have a person to do laundry in a facility with all those residents? Understaffing is not good and my mom ends up with other people's clothes on and hers are missing. With her name in them! Grrrr!. Need to address the understaffing . Sorry but they lost one star from last post.

I am a relative of a past residentI would never recommend this place to anyone, this place in my opinion is so mismanaged. My grandmother stayed here and in my opinion due to the lack of care, she fell and ended up in the hospital several times (she never ever fell in the place we transferred her to) , she was never the same. One of the employees would constantly argue with her, trying to correct her, she has Alzheimers, can't you just agree with someone and leave it alone, why do you feel the need to anger her by being right? It is supposed to be a locked facility but my grandmother left several times and they had to go running after her. To elaborate in my opinion, this happened because the place is understaffed. Vistors come in and out and this creates an opportunity for residents to leave when there is no one at the desk. At the end, my grandmother was barely eating, she needed help but was not given the help she needed, sometimes the staff would just watch her struggling to feed herself, I saw this several times with my own eyes when I came in for a surprise visit, we were told by the owner and several staff that she was dying because she was not eating enough, so we took her out of that place and brought her to another place where they helped her feed herself and she was restored her back to health and she was able to enjoy the remaining time in her life with care and love. In reference to Bella Garalde's review, I corrected my review to point out it was an employee and elaborated how my grandmother got out but the rest is our experience with Fairgreen Assisted Living and I did not get it confused with any other establishment because my grandmother only stay in two place and I visted there many times.

In reference to Cynthia Ravosa's review about Fairgreen. Do you know that Fairgreen does not employ nurses? Also there is no way a person with Alzheimer like your grandmother can key in the code for the secured door and get out as often as you said she did. So could it be that you are confusing Fairgreen with another facility your grandmother was in? Your comment was all untrue and inflammatory. Please get your story right!
