Brookdale Atrium Way

I tell all my doctors that Brookdale Atrium is well kept secret! It is such a great rehab facility. The food is the best food I have had in a long time. They have an always available menu which is very easy and convenient. The food is very delicious! The Therapist are very kind but also push you to do your best and gets you to do your best...I have graduated from my illness 2000% I am so thankful for this place

The food is outstanding! Occupational and physical therapy is out of this world, I couldn't walk and could walk out the door when complete. Very clean place and nursing staff/aide are always helpful and kind. When I was released I had great home care and equipment set up.

We unfortunately chose the skilled nursing facility when our mom needed more PT after leaving Brooks hospital. What a huge MISTAKE!! So friendly on the first day, then went downhill fast!! My mom was unable to leave her bed or wheelchair without assistance. Therefore bathroom visits required either a CNA or nurse. Many times after mom would press the call button it would take up to 20 minutes or more for someone to come take her. Then she could be left in there for 30+ minutes pushing the call button! There were food issues as well. My sisters and I were up there often, watching over things and helping to fill out her menus. Food was being sent to her that she did not order. Someone else was filling out her menus. Once I went up to find her dinner consisted of herbed couscous, a roll, and oatmeal cookie! I spoke with the dietary manager 3 times, he assured me each time the issues would be resolved. Medication was another issue, inconsistent delivery times, missed doses, evevning doses given 10 or after! All the time giving excuses that they have 14 or more patients to take care of and mom needs to just wait her turn! The feeling that you're a nuisance was implied all the time. The elderly already feel they are a burden, they don't need supposed medical professionals making them feel worse!! DO NOT leave your lived one here!!

I love everything about this place. The kitchen is clean & residents gets their food on time, I regret leaving this place it just wasn't paying enough, but one thing I can say is if you decide to put you family in an nursing home choose here cause honestly they love on them. Feed them good & spend quality time with them. This will always be an awesome spot for the elderly

A night mare for our family I would not put a dead dog in that place. And very unprofessional case manager not doing there job misleading patients and there family about service in place and not at all in place.
