Shellie the marketing Director is so personable and helpful. The community is so beautiful. The new owner really put their heart and soul into this building. If you are looking for senior living this is the place. They have such caring staff and it shows on the residents faces. Good job!

The entire staff is caring! My brother has been there since September 2019, he suffered a Massive Stroke. No Speech, entire right side is paralyzed.

We had a great time at their Fall Festival for their residents. Everyone enjoed themselves especially the kids with the water slide. Everyone loved the fried dough, elephant ears or buelos whichever way you like to call them. Thank my aunt for the invite.

My parents recently moved in. The entire place is under renovation and we can see it will be beautiful when completed, which isn't far off. Everything is clean. Everyone is very friendly. My parents are kind of picky eaters. So far the food is excellent in their opinion. Even though meals and snacks are provided, they have a kitchenette with a small fridge. I added a microwave and ice maker. This way they can have snacks they looked. My stepdad can be very cranky and didn't want to go, but after 2 weeks he is very happy. They have their car, the one room was plenty big for a bedroom set, dinette, a couple of recliners and a 50 inch tv and a wheel chair can still easily navigate around if needed. I could not be happier with the decision to chose the The Opal.

Get rid of the Executive Director who constantly runs to get coffee and her sidekick Shellie. The two share all info on residents and employees. Nothing is confidential. This community lost most managers, managers that were there for 10+ years due to the Executive Director. Hopefully the new owners will learn the truth because the old owners could care less about resident, families and employee complaints. Its very sad when the best managers leave a place they love and care about the residents due to the Executive manager. Dont believe the fake niceness.Someone with compassion, integrity and who respects the residents should run the place.
