I worked here, albeit briefly. I am not a novice to memory care or other caretaking jobs, not by any stretch. I've been in the field for years and I am passionate about caring for our elders.Superior is a joke. A prettied up, glossy mess. I will echo another reviewer who recommended a Nanny Cam.

While I felt the staff and community was caring when we first toured, it really does not matter what I think. What truly confirmed my thoughts was my mother's reaction on the tour and then her unsolicited comments (a huge struggle for her to voice her thoughts and feelings) on a different day about how everyone there is kind and nice. She smiles and brightens every day we arrive for her day-stays when she sees the staff, sometimes with a wave too as she enters! As I have quickly learned, caring for someone with memory issues like my mom is not easy. To make it your career means you have the passion, compassion and as one staff member told me - humility - to be able to sucessfully do it and I feel the staff at Superior Residences of Brandon do! I am grateful and appreciative to each of them!

My grandfather is currently living at Superior Residences, me and my wife are very happy knowing he is under great care of the staff at the facility. They are very educated in the world of Alzheimer's and Dementia and use that knowledge to give your loved one the best care possible. Special shout out to Jill Andrews my grandfather had to be transferred from another facility that said he couldnt stay there anymore and she made the transition very smooth and easy. She has knowledge beyond belief about this disease and has been such a compassionate and comforting guide along this difficult journey. Thank you Superior Residences!
