Fuzzy Friends Pet Care

My Grandmother lived here from Aug 2012 to June 2018. When she first moved in it was Emeritus. Our overall experience with facility was excellent. It was a bit rocky when Brookdale took over but everything eventually smoothed out. The nursing staff was very attentive and helpful especially Wendy. The front desk person was always helpful. Tony, the most recent front desk person in 2018 is awesome. He is always personable, helpful, and professional. After my Grandmother was admitted to the hospital and then sent to rehab, the staff were always asking how she was doing, said they missed her, and even went to see her at her new location. Sadly, my Grandmother is too ill to return to Brookdale but me and my family are thankful for the 6 years she was there and everything the staff did for her and her cat Katy. Thank you Brookdale!

Actually i apply for a dietary Aide position in September 2018, and was called in for an interview the next day. When i got there i was interviewed by the dietary supervisor and told to filled out and signed a (#2) forms for background check and company policies agreements and return the documents to the HR manager whenever i was finished. I did as was told and so the HR manager she took the forms and look at me with disgust and she asked me to return with my social security card the same afternoon because she couldn't find the copy of my SS #, that i had bought on the first day i had applied for the job. I went home fetch the card and return to the office to make a copy, this is my third time back and fourth because of the company's unprofessional situation. I was called two weeks after those three visits to come in for an interview at 10:00am, I got there 15 minutes prior to my interview and was told to wait in the activities room. After a few minutes of waiting the supervisor came to me and said Oh i did interview you already right and i said yes i did filled out two different set of forms she was really nice from day one. She said let me take you to the HR department. when i got there the manager looking at me said i remember you, then she asked me what's your name and i told her, she took the forms and looking at them i saw she looks at the supervisor and noded her head and said we cannot hire you I am sorry. Actually you have me coming in on four different occasions to tell me you cant hire me! this is ridiculous and i think its discrimination. I had cancelled all my appointments and go the extra miles attending to all their meetings to be told that they aren't going to hire me. I'm so dissatisfied with the unprofessional way this job situation was being handled, I thought that i got the job. 'I'm really dissapointed'

I haven't been here yet. But, I will say this. After reading all the reviews I must say, no facility is perfect. No matter where you go there's flaws. People have to walk into a job with a smile, and an attitude of I will make a difference in somebody's life today. No matter if you're top Dog or a house keeper change is everything. I still want to work here I put an application in and I hope I can get the job I applied for. Because after 32 years as a care giver, I know I can make a difference in someone's life.

I went out for a position to work here and its not that I was upset that I didn't get hired, but rather the way I saw live in guests being neglected and a person I knew that worked on the inside of Brookdale had nothing but how horrible management was here. They really are totally disorganized. I can't imagine how much goes on between patient/staff interaction that I didn't see if what I did see was already pretty bad. Very sad.

The staff was very helpful when I visited on my tour I Decided to put my loved one here It's been two months and I go every week and my loved one likes it and I liked it also and the staff are allways helpful and nice and caring.

Worst experience ever called the toll free number to set up appointment, then went to my appointment waited for over 45 minutes still the person I was supposed to meet with never met with me!!!! The another lady talked to me and said I would receive a call back. Today I called myself and finally was told my mom being 59 and in bad health cannot stay there!!!! What a worthless admission department do not waste your time. When I was waiting the 45 minutes staff was short with clients and seemed irritated that a client asked a question. Awful experience, when your already dealing with emotional heartache.

Brookdale does not pay there entertainment they book you for a job then tell u 90 days before payment it's been 4 months and we still have not seen payment and they don't return calls they avoid you. worst ever we will never recommend or do another job for that franchise.i need to seek collections office.
