Health Center at Sinai Residences Boca Raton

The health center is beautiful and clean however the care leaves a lot to be desired. My Mother in law did not start her rehab for 5 days after arriving.The staff talked about a list of activities to keep her busy. We had to look at the list daily to instruct her to have someone take her to an activity. Otherwise she would be sitting in her room all day. The facility is drastically understaffed. There was never a response from the director and it was impossible to speak to or get a response from appropriate managers. It took a lot of complaining to get the therapy she needed. Other than that she would be sitting alone. The staff was unfriendly and not interested in the patients.

My name is Joel Kochman and I was a patient in Sinai Rehab from 10/30/19 to 12/31/19. Everyone was dedicated, motivating, helpful and extremely pleasant. The facility was beautiful and very clean. It was like a hotel. I wish to especially thank Mary, Marie, Ryan, Sherwin, and Paula who helped me during my stay. They were always there to inspire me to aim higher. I also want to thank Mina, who answered all our questions and is very personable. She was our 'go to' person. If you have a choice, chose Sinai Rehab. I can't thank them enough for getting me through this most difficult time.

Sinai is like a 5 star hotel.Merlene who was my aid from 7:00 to 3:00 was wonderful. We called ourselves the M&M team..Marie my 3:00 to 11:00 aid was wonderful. I had a special bond with her, I had her once before when I was in Sinai.I called the night nurse Beatrice Angel of the night She was very kind and compassionate..The nurses were also. They always made sure I had my medicine.Jean the late night nurse was also great.I have the title of Queen of Sinai given to me by Kristin.My stay this time was ruined by a woman named Corine. I dont know how she got in Sinai.She had a very loud mouth and rubbed everyone the wrong way. She urinated on a chair at dinner and Marie had to disinfect it. She came to breakfast in a sweater so short her underwear showed when she got up.One patients son told her that he didnt want to talk to her.You can verify all this with Bonni Gross who I think is still there.
