Greenridge Place

We just moved my mother-in-law into Greenridge Place and we couldnt be happier. They have gone out of their way to be welcoming to her and us and we have complete confidence in her care there. It is a lovely facility with great staff. We are grateful to have found such a wonderful place!

mom mother was just recently a guest of greenridge place for the month of june in the memory care unit for respite care, physical/occupation/speech/cognitive therapy and medication control. i can not say enough good things about the facility. not only were the staff really good to her they treated her with respect and dignity as close to family as if we had been there ourselves, but the treated my family just as well.in this age of covid i know it can be difficult to keep up with family but that was never a problem with us. we were allowed window visits (both people and pets) they also made it possible for me to bring lots of personal items for her to make her feel at home. and because she was having trouble with her appetite they also allowed me to bring in the foods she like to help her get eat and gather her strength. i so appreciate they staff both actual patient care staff members and the front staff were so great and went leaps and bounds above to help my mom get well and back to herself! thank you and may god bless you all always!!v.m. lewis

The staff at Greenridge are caring, kind and competent. The place is very clean and thoughtfully set up for the population it serves. Greenridge has done an amazing job navigating activities and communication between residents and loved ones while conscientously following safety precautions during the pandemic. Greenridge has proven to give care to the residents as if they are their loved ones.

As an outside care provider I cannot express how disappointed I am in the care I witnessed. I came in on an overnight call and witnessed the overnight crew kicked back watching Netflix for the three hours I was there attending to my patient. On top of that there was ALOT these ladies could be doing not only were residents up wandering around SOAKED but the dining area was absolutely FILTHY.

The most unfortunate part of this review is the fact I have to place a minimum of one star here. I had come to visit a long friend/resident residing in this community recently and Ive seen her on a few occasions here but the last time was one I just have to point out and was very unimpressed to say at the least. If I could move her to a better fit facility I would do so myself. From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I walked out my experience was absolutely awful and its just heart breaking to see the conditions these people are in. First, I walked in the doors, and from the outside the building seems somewhat modern and I was not even greeted by anyone I was ignored until finally I said can I go to the back and visit room ***? Completely unprofessional, they finally let me through the doors and told me to knock when I was ready to come back. So strange. The lobby smelt strongly of a marijuana smell, (this smell has been here every time I walk in) pretty odd considering thats not a normal smell for a nursing home! Appalling and disturbing to think anyone could possibly be high taking care of this poor fragile population. As I continued to walk through I noticed only two staff members the entire time I was there; there has to be at least 30 or more residents I saw around there. Theres no way a proper quality of care was established there with only two of these women running around stressed out! I pulled one of the girls aside and asked where their manager was and when I was pointed in the direction there were several people being absolutely loud, obnoxious and oblivious to a visitor wanting to address a concern and not even able to be interrupted! How unprofessional I didnt even bother. I continued to sit for lunch with my friend and I just couldnt allow her to be served the lunch she had as well as what they offered me, it had been served cold and it was as if it was a TV dinner but worse. I would not recommend this place for my worst enemy!
